High pressure humidifying spray

This is one of the newest product groups in our complete line of kiln equipment. On the right you can see a system spraying its fine mist/fog on a test setup in a workshop. It is difficult to capture the effect in the dark environment of a lumber kiln. The setup on the picture is for a small kiln in the range of 35-70m3 (15-30mbf) loading capacity.
Learn more about basic theory behind the Humidi-Mist system.
What is most exciting about the Humidi-Mist system is the price level, which is about 40-60% of the average system sold by other kiln manufacturers without compromising on quality.

We actually believe our system has some design advantages:

-- High water pressure insures atomized droplets in the size of 10 micron (0.01mm or 0.0004"), which insures instant evaporation in the kiln environment. Suggested operation pressure is 55atm/800 psi, but it can be raised up to 100atm/1500 psi.
-- Anti-drip check valve on each individual spray nozzle which prevents the nozzles from dripping onto the lumber.
-- All stainless steel design insures maximum protection against corrosion in the harsh kiln drying environment. However, the spray nozzle head has a stainless steel orifice with the outer body of bronze.
-- Easily intregrated into existing kiln controls using a control signal (24, 110, or 220VAC) and regular three-phase or single-phase power for the pump.
-- Easy and low maintenance: We have designed the system with a pressure relief drain valve which will open and drain the system when it is not in use. In addition, the spray nozzle heads are inexpensive and easily changed by hand (no tool required).
-- Low rpm pump system. We use a 1400rpm(50Hz) or 1750rpm(60Hz) motor instead of 2800/3450rpm as some systems. The lower rpm makes the seals and bearings last longer.

We are looking forward to helping you upgrade your kilns with the Humidi-Mist system and other possible components and controls to help you lower energy consumption and operating cost together with potential improved drying quality.
