Kiln-direct would encourage you to become active in your local kiln drying club or association. There are annual or semiannual meetings where knowledgeable persons with hands-on experience get together to help each other grow in their position. The meetings provide kiln operators the opportunity to meet with other people doing the same things they are doing, and trading ideas for solutions to problems. If you are running multiple large kilns, or a single 4,000 board foot kiln, you can pick up information from other people with experience in what you are doing.
