January 2012 Kiln-direct launched new version of our Wooddryer Kiln Control System management software plus all new and updated PLC controller software, aka version 8.0.
Benefits of the new windows based software:
- More user friendly.
- More efficient communication.
- Run on new windows 64-bit operating system
- More stable on later windows versions.
- Better log files for later troubleshooting with Online Meetings.
All older kilns can easily be updated with the latest software and:
- All existing pallet kiln controls are compatible with the new version 8.0
- All existing firewood kiln controls are compatible with the new version 8.0
- Existing lumber kiln control will need to update both the PLC and Windows software at the same time.
