Today all our complete and modular lumber kilns comes standard with heat recovery system standard. This is our commitment to making more efficient lumber kilns that uses less energy and reduces costs.

Kiln-direct together with Wooddryer System has been installing heat recovery units for lumber kilns for nearly 20 years. The product has evolved from using "off-the-shelf" components and heat exchangers to the most recent model, which is all stainless steel with an aluminum heat transfer core. This latest version has been field tested for three years in Europe and performed very well. Your company could save up to 20%-35% of the heating cost if heat recovery units are installed on your existing kilns.
