Side-loaded Pallet Kilns

Side-Loaded Pallet Kiln (Turn-key unit).

Our most recent addition to our line of pallet kilns is the much requested side-loaded design. This design incorporates many improvements in making a better pallet kiln. The kiln comes in two models: Half and Full truck load capacity with an extended model for upto to 700 pallet capacity.

The actual design of the kiln is very important and can either limit your options or preferably give you maximum flexibility by allowing you to provide your customers with both heat treated and kiln dried pallets. Not only have we built this kind of a dual purpose kiln, but also designed it to fit into your production efficiently. Thereby reducing your operational cost.

The higher standard includes these specifications:

All aluminum construction. (Inside stainless steel sheeting optional).
Thick foam insulated walls with nearly R40 insulation
Large aluminum self latching bi-fold door with foam insulation.
Arrives fully assembled to your location (full truck load kiln comes in two halfs).
Fully automatic control system with wireless connection to office computer.
More temperature sensors to insure compliance every time.
Direct gas heating system offers highest efficiency (lower operating costs).
Power venting to cool load or dry pallets.

The control system is the heart of any pallet kiln and should be designed to both heat treat and dry pallets. Our kiln connects to the office computer through a wireless or land line connection. The process is initiated and finalized from the office computer and a report in both graph and Writen form is automatically generated and stored. This makes operating the kiln and record keeping very simple and convienent. You can operate multiple kilns from the same computer as well.

This kiln comes standard or extended. The extension increases the depth and allow for another row of pallets and thereby loads 25% more capacity. Since the burner and fan system has very large capacity this makes only little difference in actual treatment cycle times.

This kilns is nor designed for high volume but still offers quick heat treatment times. It is uniquely suited for companies needing very long pallets and crates at lower volumes.
