This represent our latest design, which combines the relative and durable solution for the walls by using concrete walls and the pre-fabricated stainless steel roof structure with stainless steel main door system.
This design will offer anyone the option to build their own steam chamber using local labor and materials.
General specification of this steam chamber construction.
Foundation with water trenches for separating dirt from the condensate and groove for steam pipe placement.
Concrete walls, we suggest 200mm (8") thick, for the back and side walls. The concrete wall offer maximum durability against the steam environment and accidental damage when loading and unloading the chamber. The inside of the walls must be coated periodically with a special paint.
Stainless steel header, stainless roof structure, and inside stainless steel sheeting for maximum protection against corrosion.
Outside (both walls and roof) is insulated with 75-150mm (3"-6") insulation, preferable rockwool, or similar type.
Outside walls and roof is covered with aluminum profile sheeting.
Stainless steel main door system with 100-150mm (4"-6") insulation. Stainless steel in essential for building a durable main door for a steam chamber with maximum protection against corrosion. We suggest using the lift/slide door opening system.
We hope above information has been helpful and we hope you consider our controls for operating your future steam chamber.
