Kiln-direct just introduced our biomass / wood waste heating system which was developed during 2009 and initially only installed on our Quick Firewood Kilns. In 2010 this heat system is now also available in "stand alone system" and integrated into our High Capacity pallet kiln.

IMAGINE THIS:
Using pallet scrap, cut off, or other wood waste to heat your warehouse. In this specific case you can actually eliminate the gas cost for heat treating your pallets and when the kiln is not using providing you with "free" heat for your production and warehouse space.

High Capacity Standard Pallet Kiln with biomass / wood waste heating. Top of kiln you can see the duct transferring hot air into the ware house. Back end you can see the 34-bin conveyor system for 10-15 hours of wood waste for the heat system. Test operation and data: 8000 ft2 warehouse (20ft high) 500000 - 700000 btu/hr heating capacity. No return air from warehouse , so pulling in outside air (25-40F during test run) Average hot air going into warehouse (120-130F) Average temperature in warehouse (70-90F) Fuel type: Old used pallets (half way rotten)
